The Role: 

Our Immigration team provides expert advice and representation to a range of international and domestic based individuals and families as well as their employers to enable them to secure visas to live in and contribute to New Zealand. Lane Neave holds New Zealand’s leading immigration practice, operating out of offices in Auckland and Christchurch. 
 
We are seeking a Solicitor (approx. 3 years' PQE) to join our national Immigration team, based in either our Auckland or Christchurch offices.  

In this position you will: 

  • Provide clear, expert legal advice to our clients; 

  • Manage your own caseload from start to finish effectively and efficiently; 

  • Liaise with external parties, such as Immigration New Zealand; and 

  • Continuously grow your knowledge and understanding of New Zealand’s immigration system and visa applications. 

You will also have the benefit of building close working relationships across the wider firm, where a culture of shared knowledge and expertise, development and mentoring is openly encouraged. 

About You: 

Ideally, you will have around 3 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in a similar Immigration role. You will have the ability to build strong, trusted relationships with our clients and work effectively with the Immigration team across offices. You will be able to deliver on work within the required timeframes, have a passion for the Immigration practice area, and a willingness to learn and grow in your career.
