Growth of interesting work in our Litigation Team has created a vacancy for a qualified junior lawyer to work primarily in our Maori Legal Team. We are looking for an applicant with strong verbal and written skills, an excellent academic record, and a focus on delivering clients a high level of service. Work includes:

• Considering evidence and drafting legal documents;
• Drafting and presenting legal submissions;
• Briefing and leading witnesses;
• Appearing before the Waitangi Tribunal;
• Working with government agencies; and
• Some general litigation and commercial work.

Remuneration will vary depending on your experience and demonstrated capabilities and we review at least annually based on performance.
