Right now we are looking for a Legal Executive to join our dynamic organization where you'll provide critical legal and administrative support to our Legal team. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of legal matters, with a particular focus on property matters, the agriculture industry, contract management.

As part of a large, complex, and fast-paced business, you'll have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that will challenge and develop your legal executive expertise. The role is 32 hours per week and we're flexible - whether you'd prefer a four-day week or spreading your hours across the week, we'll work with you to find a schedule that fits.

What You'll Do:

  • Proactively support the Legal team on a wide range of commercial, corporate and company secretarial matters.
  • Administer the Group's property matters.
  • Provide excellent legal executive and administrative support to the Legal team.
  • Manage and improve our contract database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support the negotiation and drafting of contracts, variations, renewals, etc.
  • Assist with reviewing and updating Company policies.
  • Helping to continuously improve legal team processes.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the organization, as well as suppliers, customers, landlords, and external advisors.
  • A variety of legal research.

What We're Looking For:

  • Legal Executive qualification with 5+ years of Post-Qualified Experience in New Zealand.
  • Strong property law experience.
  • Matter management and/or project management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and works to team priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and motivated to "get things done".
  • Ability to work independently, and works well with a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Data-base management experience.
  • Strong Microsoft office Word skills required, and good Excel skills preferred.
