Legal Executive

We are busy! So, we are seeking another experienced legal executive to add to our friendly team in Whangamata. 

Hart & Lowe are a well-established, boutique, law firm, providing a first-class legal service to clientele locally, nationwide and internationally. 

This is a full time, permanent position.  It is a varied and dynamic role, in which you will be primarily responsible for supporting the team in the areas of conveyancing, property, trusts and estates and private client matters.  

Your duties will include: 

  • Managing and progressing files; 

  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence; 

  • Providing high-quality administrative support, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant; 

  • Communicating effectively with clients, internal teams, and other professionals; 

  • Assisting with more complex legal matters as required. 

Key Requirements: 

  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience as a legal executive, with exposure to conveyancing, property, trusts, estates and private client work; 

  • Proven ability to run files independently, managing your caseload with minimal supervision; 

  • Experience working with Landonline; 

  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills; 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; 

  • Experience with legal research and drafting documentation; 

  • Computer literacy with competencies in MS Office Suite and Outlook, and reasonable typing proficiency.
