The New Zealand Law Society | Te Kāhui Ture o Aotearoa is the professional body for barristers and solicitors in New Zealand. The Law Society regulates all lawyers practising in New Zealand and is the membership organisation for practising lawyers. With 13 branch offices throughout the country, the Law Society is the Kaitiaki (guardian) of the practice of law in Aotearoa New Zealand and the consumers of legal services.

About the role

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our Marketing and Communications team and support our advertising customers. You will also help our team in administrative activities related to advertising, invoicing, communications campaigns, and publications 

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours each week. We embrace flexible working to support our staff to deliver their best and achieve a good work/life balance.

This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and 2+ years of experience in a coordinator/administrator position. 

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency and expertise with other digital marketing platforms
  • Experience of updating websites using a content management system (not essential, but preferable)
  • Sound judgement and understanding of the need for accuracy and attention to detail on repetitive tasks
  • Customer service orientation and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and gain their trust and respect
  • Show curiosity, flexibility, and openness in analysing and integrating ideas, information, and differing perspectives; to make fit for-purpose decisions 
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills 
  • The ability to work well both independently and within a team and a willingness to learn and develop.
