Do you want to join a close-knit team at the intersection of te ao Māori, public policy analysis and legal work?

Woodward Law is looking for one solicitor, ideally 3 years PQE, and one solicitor.

Our small private practice serves a wide range of clients in Māori, environmental and public and administrative law. We are recruiting for two positions in our team of six to replace staff who have been recruited by the Crown.

We also work for our clients in a range of Māori land and governance issues, and operate a small commercial practice developing Māori housing.

We work for several large clients, alongside top barristers, on cases intended to change New Zealand’s laws.

The ideal candidate will be confident in cross-cultural communication and in working with Māori communities. The candidate will also be committed to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Graduate lawyers are welcome to apply for the solicitor position. We are committed to training and supporting new solicitors as a core focus of our practice. We are committed to an above-market salary and remuneration structure.
