Holland Beckett Law is a progressive and growing full-service law firm, situated in the sunny Bay of Plenty with offices in Tauranga, Rotorua, Whakatane and Opotiki. With over 130 employees, it is one of the largest provincial practices in New Zealand.
We are seeking an experienced, talented and driven lawyer to join our busy property practice in Tauranga.
You will work with a property partner across a range of work including:
Development funding – we act for NZ’s largest non-bank first mortgage lender;
Developments – land acquisition, due diligence, structuring and pre-sale agreements;
Commercial property - acting for landlords/property owners – acquisitions, disposals, structuring and leasing;
Residential and commercial conveyancing;
Subdivisions – both residential and commercial;
Some asset protection.
What we’re looking for:
NZ admitted lawyers from 5 years’ PQE (if you have a little bit less, we’d still love to hear from you!)
Property experience with demonstrated commercial nous. Trust and estate planning knowledge would be useful
Strong client service orientation and a desire to add real value to every client interaction
Strong work ethic
Excellent communication, written and technical skills
Down to earth and collaborative interpersonal style
