Frontline Law is a growing law practice based in Wellington and serving clients throughout New Zealand, with a focus on employment and military law.
This is a part-time position which will provide the right person with working arrangements that are highly flexible. This could suit an experienced lawyer who has taken time away from legal practice, for example because of family, study, or other commitments, and is ready for a graduated return to legal practice on terms that suit them.
As a Senior Solicitor, you will provide quality legal services to clients under the supervision of the Director. Your work will be primarily focused on employment law but there may be opportunity for other areas of legal work which are within your scope of practice. You will work with new and existing clients with a view to cultivating relationships and maintaining a high level of client service. Remuneration will be based on experience and ability. In addition to base remuneration, you will enjoy incentive payments for billable work you complete.
It is essential that you have the ability to manage yourself and your workload, while keeping the Director aware of your work and seeking additional supervision and support when appropriate. If you do not hold a current practicing certificate, you must have the ability to gain one quickly. It is intended that you are Wellington based, but if you have the right experience this is flexible. It is desirable, but not essential, that you have experience or strong links with the military, police, or emergency services.
