About the role
A values-driven organisation is seeking a Workplace Relations Business Partner to join its high-performing in-house HR and Legal function. This is more than just a legal role — it's an opportunity to help shape culture, champion fairness, and support leaders across a dynamic and evolving organisation.
You’ll be part of a close-knit team of experienced employment lawyers, providing expert guidance on a wide range of Employment and Industrial Relations matters — from enterprise bargaining and dispute resolution to change management and investigations.
In this permanent, full-time position (with flexibility to WFH 1 day per week), you’ll have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to both strategic projects and day-to-day workplace relations issues — all while helping leaders live the organisation’s values in every decision they make.
What we’re looking for
Strong technical knowledge of employment and industrial relations legislation, and proven experience working with Unions and within collective agreements.
Experience advising on investigations, disputes, performance management and change processes
A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset that balances legal risk with commercial outcomes
Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR and senior leaders
Experience mentoring or upskilling leaders on ER/IR matters
Confidence managing sensitive situations with discretion, calm, and professionalism
