The Crown Law Office has published the Cabinet Directions for the Conduct of Crown Legal Business 2016.

The new Directions were approved by Cabinet on 15 February 2016 and replace earlier Directions from 2012.

They apply to Ministers of the Crown and all government departments, including bodies, decision-makers, office holders or employees within those departments.

The Directions focus on Core Crown Legal Matters and how they must be conducted.
