The Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand (IPONZ) says it does not anticipate any issues for clients when Daylight Saving Time (NZDT) ends on 3 April 2016.

Clocks will be set back one hour on 3 April when 3:00am becomes 2:00am.

IPONZ says New Zealand Standard Time will apply to all applications filed or changed on or after 3.00am on 3 April 2016.

"As tasks due on a Sunday do not abandon until the end of Monday, and applications submitted with us on Sunday will receive Monday as the filing date, we do not anticipate any issues for clients as a result of this time change."
