Kiriana Tan appointed to Family Violence Death Review Committee

Hamilton barrister Kiriana Tan has been appointed as a member of the Family Violence Death Review Committee until May 2020.

Kiriana, who practises from Te Kōpū Chambers, Hamilton was appointed by the Board of the Health Quality and Safety Commission for her expertise in law and experience working in the area of family violence.

She joins Professor Mark Henaghan as the other legal professional on the Committee.

The Committee is an independent expert committee that reviews and advises the health, social and justice sectors on how to reduce the number of family violence deaths.
