Law Student to represent NZ in Antarctic Youth Expedition

Caleb Fraser, a University of Canterbury Law and Chemistry student, has been chosen to travel with researchers to the Antarctic Peninsula as part of the research project ‘Antarctic Cities and the Global Commons’.

Caleb is one of five young people (18-29) chosen from Antarctic Gateway cities.

The expedition begins from Punta Arenas, Chile in late November.

The group will travel with the Chilean Antarctic Institute (INACH) to Julio Escudero Base on King George Island, Antarctic Peninsula, from 1-9 December 2019.
