Admitted in 2005 in New Zealand and 2013 in Australia, Dan Chisholm joined Mortlock McCormack Law as an Associate in October 2019.

Dan specialises in commercial and entertainment law, with a specific expertise in the music industry, acting for some prominent musicians and labels in New Zealand and Australia.

Dan advises on a range of music related agreements including; songwriter, recording, management, producer, publishing, distribution and licensing agreements.

Dan's commercial experience includes buying and selling businesses, contract drafting and advice, commercial leases and company transactions.

Dan was recently appointed as a Mentor for the Music Managers Forum Aotearoa.
