Simon Ward rejoins Curtis Mallet-Prevost Colt & Mosle LLP

New Zealander Simon Ward has rejoined international US law firm Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP as Muscat Managing Partner.

Mr Ward was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the HIgh Court of New Zealand in September 2001 and holds a New Zealand practising certificate.

He was appointed to the Oman Court of Appeal Roll of Arbitrators in 2011 and has acted as both arbitrator and lead counsel before the Omani Courts. He has also acted in domestic and international arbitrations under the auspices of the ICC and LCIA, and in Omani/UNCITRAL ad hoc arbitrations.

Before Mr Ward returned to New Zealand for family reasons last year, he had spent nearly five years in Curtis' Oman office, including most recently as Curtis’ Head of Disputes in Oman.
