The New Zealand Law Society's weekly e-newsletter of news about the New Zealand justice system and legal industry is marking its second birthday.

LawPoints Community is a spinoff from the very successful LawPoints e-newsletter which is sent to every lawyer holding a current practising certificate. LawPoints has an average opening rate of over 47% and high clickthroughs to news items and information.

LawPoints Community was developed in response to requests from non-lawyers for the weekly service. A number of the items in LawPoints have access restricted to members of the legal profession only.

The first LawPoints Community was sent on 7 March 2013 and the e-newsletter has since developed a broad subscriber base, including law students, members of the media, librarians and other people working in or interested in the legal services industry.
