The guide has 11 tips for simple, practical things firms and staff can do to keep both the business (and client) information, as well as personal information, safe and secure. If you think you’re been affected, CERT NZ’s simple-to-use reporting tool will guide you through diagnosing your cybersecurity issue.
The agency says cyber attacks are becoming more and more common, so it’s important for firms to know what to do to protect information online. “While there’s no bulletproof way to prevent an attack, there are a lot of things you can do that will help to lessen the risk,” it says.
