Changes in immigration fees and levies

Immigration New Zealand says the Government has reviewed the prices of its immigration fees and levies.

It says the fees for some classes of visa will increase, while others will decrease. The new fee and levy rates will come into effect on 5 November 2018.

Immigration levies will be raised by 43%. The current online discounts for certain visa applications will be removed and there will be an increase to the employer accreditation fee.

Immigration New Zealand has summarised the changes as follows:

Student visas Down 6.5%
Group visitor visas Down 45%
Business/skilled visas Down 1%
Other visas Up 10%
