Ethics and compliance keep more Chief Legal Officers and General Counsel awake at night than any other issue, according to a global survey.

The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) has released its 2016 Law Department Management Report. The report was compiled from a survey of 299 Chief Legal Officers, General Counsel and legal operations professionals from 37 industries across 25 countries.

Asked to choose the top issues keeping them up at night, 71% chose ethics and compliance, followed closely by regulatory issues (70%). Data breaches or protection of corporate data was third, chosen by 59%.
