The Parliamentary Counsel Office has published the High Court Rules in a new location on the New Zealand Legislation website.

The High Court Rules 2016 are published as such even though they are deemed by section 147 of the Senior Courts Act 2016 to form part of that Act.

They are published as if they were a legislative instrument within the meaning of the Legislation Act 2012, under section 154 of the Senior Courts Act 2016.

Before enactment of the 2016 Act, the High Court Rules were found in Schedule 2 of the Judicature Act 1908.
