Legal services prices continue to rise

Prices for legal services rose by 1.4% in the June 2017 quarter and by 5.0% in the year to 30 June 2017, according to Statistics New Zealand's producers price index.

Prices for legal services rose by 2.6% in the March 2017 quarter. The strong showing in the first six months of 2017 contrasted with a rise of just 0.8% in legal services prices for the first half of 2016.
