Statistics New Zealand's producer price index shows that the price of legal services increased by 0.5% in the June 2016 quarter.
This was slightly behind the 0.6% increase in the June 2015 quarter and well behind the 1.9% increase in the June 2014 quarter.
Over the year to 30 June 2016, legal services prices rose by 1.9%, compared to a 2.2% rise in the year to 30 June 2015.
