In-house counsel and lawyers who specialise in advising luxury brand owners and businesses will gather in the Park Lane Four Seasons Hotel in London in May for the annual Luxury Law Summit.
The Summit, which is organised by the Global Legal Post, will also feature the Luxury Law Awards. Entries close on 1 April 2016 for this year, with awards being made in seven categories including the Lifetime Achievement in Luxury Law, the Luxury Law Rising Star Award, the Luxury Business In House Legal Team of the Year, and the Luxury Business General Counsel of the Year.
The awards have been held annually since 2013. An awards dinner on 16 May will be followed by the one-day Summit on 17 May. Perhaps reflecting the luxurious theme, a single ticket for dinner and the Summit costs £1,070.
Summit sessions include "Beauty and ethics: Drilling into the diamond business", "The general counsel view: challenges and opportunities for the luxury sector" and "Digital wars: Alibaba and Taobao - friend or foe of luxury?".
