An amended firearms buy-back price list has been made, effective from 4 September 2019.

The amended Prohibited Firearms Buy-Back Price List revokes and replaces the list which was published in the New Zealand Gazette on 13 August 2019.

The amended price list adds a number of new items to the prohibited firearms list. There are 54 new items in the Centerfire semi-automatic (valued at under $10,000) list, 3 new items in the Shotgun pump action, non-detachable magazine, 6+ cartridges (valued at under $5,000) list, and 5 new items in the Shotgun semi-automatic, non-detachable magazine, 6+ cartridges (valued at under $5,000) list.
