Christchurch practitioner Keith Hadfield died last month, aged 63. A member of the New Zealand Law Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal from November 1985 to 1991, he was also actively involved in district law society affairs.

He was admitted to the partnership of Papprill Frampton in 1961 and acted for a wide variety of clientele in the Canterbury region.

His community involvement was varied and reflected in his position as director of the sole private hospital operating in Christchurch, St George’s Hospital.

Keith was a well respected practitioner within the Canterbury district and is greatly missed by colleagues and former partners. He retired in 1991 as a result of ill health but kept an involvement with his firm up until his death.
