The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) reports a 19% growth in solicitor job vacancies advertised online in the year to 30 June 2016.

While slightly down on the 21% growth in solicitor vacancies for the year to 31 May 2016, it was still ahead of the 13% increase for all New Zealand online job vacancies over the year to 30 June 2016.

There was a 27% growth in online job vacancies for the category conveyancers and legal executives in the year to 30 June 2016. This was a sharp reversal of a 15% decline in online jobs for conveyancers and legal executives over the year to 31 May 2016.
