We have launched Our Profession, Our Future, a five-year diversity, equity and inclusion strategy that sets out a shared vision for a profession where all lawyers can contribute, progress and build sustainable, rewarding careers.
There is growing awareness of the importance of inclusion and equity, alongside a shared recognition of the benefits this brings: stronger decision making, better workplace experiences, enhanced ability to support and engage with clients, improved wellbeing and retention, and a more sustainable and resilient profession. Diversity is increasing, particularly among early career lawyers, who bring new perspectives and expectations to the profession.
