Victoria University of Wellington is to host the annual Pasifika Law and Cultural Conference for the first time this year, from 4 to 6 July 2016 in Wellington.

The event objective is to increase the understanding of Pacific legal issues and to strengthen relationships between Pacific legal scholars and students. At present eight universities are keen to participate.

The organisers are seeking sponsorship to enable full participation from Pacific law students by helping to defray the registration fee. Anyone who is interested in possible sponsorship should contact lagi.tuimavave@vuw.ac.nz or phone (04) 466 4025.
