Aimee Cox steps into Senior Solicitor role at Cooney Lees Morgan
Cooney Lees Morgan has promoted Aimee Cox to Senior Solicitor.
After completing her LLB (Hons) and BA at Victoria University of Wellington, Aimee spent nearly two years as a Judge’s Clerk at the Wellington High Court before undertaking a Master of Laws at the University of Cambridge. After a short period working remotely for CLM from Melbourne, she went on to gain criminal litigation experience with the Crown Solicitor’s Office in Wellington, before joining the firm full-time in October 2025.
Aimee’s background includes experience in judicial support, postgraduate study and criminal litigation, providing her with a broad foundation across different areas of legal practice.
Since joining CLM, she has worked on complex matters within a team environment that offers opportunities to engage directly in substantive legal work.
Aimee is focused on continuing to build her capability and delivering tailored advice to clients.
