Andrew Crisp has been appointed Chief Executive of Land Information New Zealand (LINZ), for a five-year term from 31 October 2016.

Mr Crisp is currently the Acting Chief Executive of LINZ, a role he has held since July 2016.

He is currently on secondment to LINZ from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment where he is the Deputy Chief Executive Building, Resources and Markets.

Mr Crisp began his career in the private sector, at Coopers and Lybrand before joining the public sector. He has held senior roles at the Treasury, the Department of Labour, and the Ministry for the Environment. He has a broad range of experience across a number of policy and regulatory domains, and in operations, strategy and corporate functions.

Mr Crisp holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree from Victoria University of Wellington.
