Bevan Miles has joined Chapman Tripp's Auckland office as Special Counsel.

He joins the firm from ASB Bank, where he was General Manager Taxation. He has over 18 years' experience advising on a wide range of tax matters, including restructuring, international transactions and transfer pricing, significant mergers and acquisitions, financing and capital raising transactions, and tax disputes involving the Department of Inland Revenue.

Bevan is a member of the New Zealand Law Society's Tax Committee. He is also a member of the New Zealand Bankers' Association Tax Working Group.
