Tauranga lawyer Blair Shepherd has accepted a scholarship to study for a Master of Laws in International Legal Studies at Duke Law School, Duke University in the United States.

Blair was admitted in November 2017 and works at Holland Beckett Law in the Litigation and Disputes resolution team.

His primary academic focuses at Duke will be international arbitration, international trade and climate change.

The LLM programme ends in May 2020 and Blair intends to sit the New York Bar Exam in July 2020.
