Catherine Shirley-Brown has joined Simpson Grierson’s Wellington commercial law team as a special counsel.

Catherine will become a partner with the firm after completing New Zealand Law Society requirements.

She has a particular focus on cross border M&A and transactions involving financial sponsors, and brings considerable experience advising businesses across a range of industries, including real estate, infrastructure, retail, energy, IT and finance.

Catherine was previously based in London, including the last six years as partner at international firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner.
