Whangarei lawyer David Roughan has been elected to the Board of Governors of the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries.

Mr Roughan, who has been a Fellow of the College since its inception, will represent New Zealand members on the College for the next two years.

He was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court in December 1972 and established his Northlaw practice in 1987.
