A number of New Zealand law firms are among the nominees shortlisted in the Euromoney Legal Media Group Asia Women in Business Law Awards 2017.
The awards celebrate the advancement of women in the legal industry in the Asia-Pacific region, with firms from New Zealand, Australia and greater Asia competing to take top honours.
The awards will be presented in Hong Kong on 9 November 2017.
Sarah Armstrong of Russell McVeagh has been nominated in the Best in Dispute Resolution practice area awards, which cover the whole region.
New Zealand firms which have been nominated in the New Zealand Country Award are Bell Gully, Cavell Leitch, Chapman Tripp, MinterEllisonRuddWatts, Russell McVeagh and Simpson Grierson.
New Zealand firms among the nominees for the Best Gender Diversity Initiative by National Firm award are MinterEllisonRuddWatts and Russell McVeagh.
MinterEllisonRuddWatts and Russell McVeagh are also nominees in the Best Firm For Diversity by National Firm award.
Russell McVeagh has been nominated for the Most Innovative Firm award.
MinterEllisonRuddWatts is a nominee for the Best Mentoring Programme by National Firm award.
MinterEllisonRuddWatts and Russell McVeagh have been nominated for the Best National Firm for Work-Life Balance award.
Russell McVeagh has been nominated for the Best National Firm for Women in Business Law award.
