Wellington family law firm McWilliam Rennie has announced the appointment of two new Associates.

Emma Cooney graduated from Victoria University BCA/LLB and began working in family and criminal law in 2007. 

Emma works across all areas of family law and has been included on the Court-appointed Lawyer for Child list. She is convenor of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Law Society's Family Law Committee and is a member of the Wellington Family Courts Association and the Family Law Section of the Law Society.

Nisha Dahya graduated LLB from Otago University in 2008. She specialises in family law with a particular focus on children, relationship property and domestic violence.

Nisha is on the Lawyer for Child list, and a member of the Committee of the Wellington Family Courts Association.
