Horticulture New Zealand CEO Michael (Mike) Chapman has been appointed Deputy Chair of the new combined Waiariki Bay of Plenty Polytechnic council.

Mr Chapman was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in February 1982 and holds a practising certificate. He has previously been CEO of both NZ Kiwifruit Growers Incorproate and Kiwifruit New Zealand.
