Nick Wells is Chapman Tripp's new Chief Executive Partner, effective 1 July 2016 and replacing Andrew Poole.

Mr Poole was originally one of the firm's two managing partners, along with Mark Reese who has returned to full-time practice as a partner in the firm's Wellington banking and finance team. 

Mr Poole became the firms primary managing partner, with the designation changed to Chief Executive Partner in June 2015.

Mr Wells has been a Chapman Tripp partner for 13 years and specialises in corporate and private equity transactions and fund formation.
