Nolen Walters opened its doors on 1 December 2024 with team comprising three directors, one consultant, and four staff members. After one year of practice, the team has expanded to 15 people, including two new directors, a new consultant, senior associate, and an associate.

The firm has announced its latest two senior appointments for 2026:

Paul Biddle, Senior Associate, is a litigation lawyer with more than 15 years’ experience advising insurers, corporates, and private clients on complex disputes, including insurance, commercial, relationship property, and trust matters, delivering strategic, practical outcomes. 

Angela Li, Associate, is a Tauranga-based lawyer with nearly 10 years’ experience in family and civil disputes, specialising in relationship property, estate planning, and tenancy matters, delivering practical, client-focused outcomes in English and Mandarin.
