Queenstown lawyer Maree Baker-Galloway has been elected President of the Resource Management Law Association Inc.

Maree, who is a partner at Anderson Lloyd, has been a member of the RMLA National Committee since 2006, and was Treasurer for the last two years.

She recently transfered to Queenstown from Dunedin. Her legal career began in Whanganui with the Crown Solicitor's office.

Maree works across a broad spectrum of environmental law. She is actively involved in the evolving practice of collaborative decision making in the environmental space and chairs the marine protection forum convened by the Ministers of Conservation and Primary Industry.
