Dr Rhonda Powell has established Athene Trust Law, a barrister's practice offering trust law consultancy to law firms and barristers. This includes legal opinions, trust reviews, drafting, overflow legal work and CPD seminars.

Rhonda has BA and LLB(Hons) degrees from Otago, an LLM from Nottingham and a DPhil from Oxford and has worked for law firms in London, Melbourne and New Zealand providing advice on trusts, succession planning and asset protection.

Before beginning practice as a barrister, Rhonda was a senior lecturer in law at the University of Canterbury.
