Two lawyers appointed to Cadastral Board

Lawyers Belinda Greer and Adina Thorn have been appointed to the Cadastral Surveyor Licensing Board.

The Board is New Zealand's authority for setting competency standards for land title surveyors.

Belinda Greer was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in November 1990 and is a senior legal advisor in the Office of the Health and Disability Commissioner. She earlier worked as a legal standards officer for the New Zealand Law Society.

Adina Thorn was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in May 2004. She is a director of Adina Thorn Lawyers and is a member of the Auckland District Law Society Incorporated's property disputes committee.
