A group of South Korean blockchain technology experts are to launch the Blockchain Law Society, South Korea's Younhap news agency reports.
A statement from the organisation says it was founded not only to study blockchain technology from a legal aspect but to promote interdisciplinary collaborations between diverse areas, such as economics, computer engineering (and) field business.
The Blockchain Law Society says it will invite experts from various fields, including judges, prosecutors, lawyers, professors and industry experts. It will study various legal aspects of the emerging blockchain technology, including on blockchain-related legislation.
The official launch ceremony is on 24 August 2018.
