Oliver Fredrickson has been announced as the winner of the 2023 Cleary Memorial Prize
Congratulations to Oliver Fredrickson, winner of the 2023 Cleary Memorial Prize.
A graduate of Victoria University (LLB(Hons)/BCom) and Columbia University (LL.M. (Highest Honours)), Oliver has demonstrated academic excellence, leadership qualities, and has made a significant contribution to the legal community both in his career and through community service.
Oliver has a bright future ahead of him in law and the Law Society join the Law Foundation in congratulating him and wishing him all the best with his career.
The Cleary Memorial Prize is awarded in memory of Sir Timothy Cleary, past President of both the Wellington District and New Zealand Law Societies, and a Judge of the Court of Appeal. Worth $5,000, the prize is awarded annually by the Law Foundation to a young barrister or solicitor who shows future promise in the legal profession.
