Welsh has extensive experience advising clients on a broad range of commercial disputes, including contractual issues, property, debt recovery, insurance claims, trusts and estates, and banking matters. He regularly appears in the District Court and High Court and has advised clients through regulatory investigations and arbitral proceedings.

Welsh's career has included roles with law firms in New Zealand and London, as well as in-house legal positions within the banking and insurance sectors, giving him an understanding of the commercial issues facing clients.

Welsh says he is looking forward to joining Anthony Harper's litigation team.
