Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre 

Te Pae Christchurch is a world-class and award-winning convention centre in the heart of Ōtautahi Christchurch.  

Designed as one of the anchor projects for the rebuild of Ōtautahi Christchurch, Te Pae Christchurch was conceived as a way to not only restore and reimagine the city, but to inject vibrant and dynamic life into its centre. 

The venue was designed in collaboration with the region’s local iwi, Ngāi Tahu and hapū Ngāi Tūāhuriri, with the natural beauty and unique culture of the Canterbury region reflected in the design. 

While at Te Pae Christchurch make sure you check out the wonderful art work. The art interwoven within the design of the centre is one of the most important ways the story of the Te Pae and its place in Ōtautahi Christchurch is being told.  

From sculptures and traditional designs to furniture and digital displays, local and national artists have contributed to the artwork that you’ll see around Te Pae Christchurch.
