Anne Callinan has been appointed chairperson of Simpson Grierson.

Ms Callinan was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in June 1989. She joined Simpson Grierson in 1992 and was appointed a partner in 1998. She was also part of the firm's board from 2009 to 2015.

She is an experienced commercial litigator with particular expertise in competition and regulatory law. Ms Callinan is a member of the Competition Law and Policy Institute of New Zealand, the Arbitrators' and Mediators' Institute of New Zealand, and the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal.
