Buddle Findlay has released its 2016 Diversity and inclusion annual report.

The report is the first in what the firm says will be an annual report on diversity and inclusion matters.

The 2016 report covers mainly gender, reporting on education and training, sponsorship and events, initiatives, gender statistics, and career flexibility.

The gender statistics show that at 1 January 2016, 18.6% of the firm's partners were female, up from 16.7% on 1 January 2014.

The firm says it strives for this figure to be sitting much higher.
