Todd & Walker Law has announced two promotions and two new lawyers.

Louise Denton. 

Louise Denton has been promoted to Associate in the firm’s Litigation team. Louise specialises in criminal and regulatory defence. She has experience in various courts and tribunals throughout the South Island.

Louise was admitted to the bar in 2007 after completing her LLB and BCom at the University of Otago.

She has previously worked both for the Crown and the Public Defence Service.

Pip Roberts. 

Pip Roberts has been promoted to Associate in the firm’s Property and Commercial team.

Pip primarily specialises in property transactions with a particular emphasis on rural property matters, development projects including subdivisions and unit title developments and overseas investment.

Pip also regularly advises on commercial transactions and structuring matters for private clients. Pip was admitted to the bar in 2010 and graduated with an LLB from the University of Otago.

Fran Hesp. 

Fran Hesp is a Senior Solicitor in the Employment and Civil Litigation team.

Fran is a specialist in all aspects of employment law including company restructures, employment disputes and negotiating employment agreements.

Fran also specialises in civil and commercial litigation with particular expertise in debt recovery, insolvency and dispute resolution. Fran was admitted in to the bar in 2008 after graduating from the University of Otago with an LLB and BA.

Sophie Diedrichs. 

Sophie Diedrichs is a Solicitor in the Property and Commercial team with a broad range of experience in general practice. Sophie also provides support for senior staff on resource management, civil litigation and employment matters.

Sophie will practise in Wanaka as the firm looks to develop and open an office there.

Sophie was admitted to the bar in 2015 after graduating from the University of Canterbury in 2014 with an LLB and BA.
