University of Canterbury Professor of Public Law John Hopkins has been appointed an interim Director of Transparency International New Zealand.

Professor Hopkins was lead author for TINZ’s submission to the OECD periodic review of the Foreign Bribery Convention.

He is currently a national rapporteur in the Global Justice Project’s Rule of Law project and also jointly heads a European Union funded project examining corruption in the Pacific.
